The EC-2 and ECX-2 Series offers complete flexibility in an emergency lighting unit. It’s field upgrade for powering matching remote lighting heads or AC/DC exit signs. Units are 120/277 volt input and mount in any orientation. Snap-together design makes the EC Series easy to install.
EXPK exit signs are available in a wide variety of types, mountings, faceplates/arrows, legends, voltages, etc. To make your selection easier, we have listed the standard configurations in the chart below. When ordering, and in addition to the basic catalog number, you must specify the color of faceplate and arrows, as indicated at right. Insert these suffix letters in the space provided by the asterisk (*). Add options to end of model number. As an example:

Operation
Operation is completely automatic. A brownout
sensitive transfer circuit automatically connects the
emergency lamp upon either complete loss of normal
AC power or when the AC voltage drops down
to a point where normal AC lighting will not function.
The unit also monitors DC battery voltage and
disconnects the lamps before the battery can go
into deep discharge (in conditions of extended
power failures). When the AC power is restored the
Pulse Guard Charger automatically returns the
battery to full charge in 24 hours, and monitors the
battery to maintain full charge.
